It's a matter of principle: Jeeps should be liftable! But for the new KL Cherokees, the conventional wisdom was that it couldn't be done. To prove the haters wrong, Jeep lifted one—only one—and our Associate Editor David Gluckman drove it.

Jeep had the only factory-lifted KL Cherokee in existence out at Moab. Wearing "a couple hundred grand" worth of one-off parts, it's not a lift kit per se—it's an all-new suspension setup. And sadly, you probably won't be able to get one fitted at your Jeep dealer.
