Turbos Don't Ruin The Ferrari 488

Ferrari has been on the receiving end of some flack for ditching natural aspiration and making the 488 GTB, the 458’s successor, a turbocharged affair. Thing is, they don’t ruin the experience, they just change it, as Jack Baruth explains.

During our Performance Car of the Year test, we had a Ferrari 488 GTB on hand, competing for the top prize. It’s pretty damn fast, but has turbocharging ruined the magic that a Ferrari used to have high in the rev range (or so I hear, because I never really drove a non-turbo Ferrari)?
