The Jaguar F-Type is a fine vehicle. I've said this. I believe it to be true. It's a menace. Even the supercharged V6 has no problem dispatching traffic, which is why I was so shocked to find myself unable to pass a Taurus late one night.
After the speedometer slid back into sanity, we both stopped at a gas station. I got out of a low-slung European sports car with hips as wide as Texas. Curtis Haley stepped out of his family hauler.
"That's not stock," I said.
"No it is not," he answered, grinning.
